Saleng is a town in Kulaijaya, Johor, Malaysia.

Location

The town is located in Kulaijaya District. Saleng is just beside the Kulai town. The town is not far from Senai International Airport (Sultan Ismail International Airport) about 7–8 km. Saleng develop from a small new village (Kampung Baru) to a small town with a lot of newly development project and township plan.

Demography

There is not big but have a lot of chicken rice stalls. In Saleng have a primary school(S.J.K(C)Saleng), a shopping mall,TJ Mart, TJ food court, a famous masjid jamek, and 24-hours fastfood restaurant. A zoo is located in Saleng, faced the main road of town, Federal Route .Foon Yew High School Kulai Campus and Johor Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) are near the town.

Administration

Saleng is administered by Pejabat Daerah Kulaijaya and Kulai Municipal Council (Majlis Perbandaran Kulai)

Population

Malay, Chinese, Indian and others races of citizen stayed in Saleng. Most of the resident is Chinese, the Chinese community are mainly of Hakka dialect.
