The Scottish Militia Bill is the usual name given to a bill that was passed by the House of Commonsmarker and House of Lordsmarker of the Parliament of Great Britainmarker in spring 1708, but vetoed by Queen Anne on the advice of her ministers on 11 March 1708 for fear that the proposed militia created would be disloyal.

The bill's long title was An Act for settling the Militia of that Part of Great Britain called Scotland. The Scottish Militia Bill 1708 is noteworthy as the last bill to be refused Royal Assent. Although this veto power remains with the Monarch, it has not been exercised since.
