Seaton Valley was an urban district in Northumberlandmarker, Englandmarker, from 1935 to 1974, when it was split between the districts of North Tyneside and Blyth Valleymarker. [207493]

It was created by a County Review Order in 1935 from various urban districts near the North Sea coast, particularly Cramlingtonmarker, most of Earsdonmarker, Seaton Delavalmarker, and Seghillmarker. Under the Local Government Act 1972 it was abolished on April 1, 1974, with the wards of Backworthmarker, Earsdonmarker and Shiremoormarker going to the borough of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear, and the rest going to Blyth Valley in Northumberland.
