The Shire of Dundas was a Local Government Area located about west of Melbournemarker, the state capital of Victoriamarker, Australia. The shire covered an area of , and existed from 1857 until 1994.

History

Dundas was first incorporated as a district on 4 August 1857, and became a shire on 8 December 1863.

On 23 September 1994, the Shire was abolished, and merged with City of Hamilton, Shire of Wannon and most of Mount Rouse into the Shire of Southern Grampians, with the Macarthur hinterland being split into the Shire of Moynemarker administered from Port Fairymarker.
