Strood Rural District was a rural district with an area of 196.44 kmĀ² in the county of Kentmarker, Englandmarker. It was expanded in 1935 by merging with the disbanded Hoo Rural District. It was named after and administered from Stroodmarker.

On 1 April 1974 it was split between the new districts of Medwaymarker and Graveshammarker.

At the time of its dissolution it consisted of the following 16 civil parishes.
