Demographics
As of the
census of 2000, there were 439
people, 147 households, and 115 families residing in the town. The
population density was 92.1/km²
(238.3/mi²). There were 167 housing units at an average density of
35.0/km² (90.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 93.62%

other races, and 1.82% from two

There were 147 households out of which 38.8% had children under the
age of 18 living with them, 63.9% were

couples living together, 9.5% had a female householder with no
husband present, and 21.1% were non-families. 17.7% of all
households were made up of individuals and 10.9% had someone living
alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size
was 2.53 and the average family size was 2.86.
In the town the population was spread out with 20.3% under the age
of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 26.0% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to
64, and 18.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was
40 years. For every 100 females there were 122.8 males. For every
100 females age 18 and over, there were 131.8 males.
