PCC 4500 (one of two remaining PCC streetcars owner by the TTC) is seen at Humber Loop.

The Presidents' Conference Car was a model used by the Toronto Transit Commission. The PCC streetcar was designed by the Presidents' Conference Committee, a group of transit operators in the United States. The Toronto Transit Commission version was built under license by St. Louis Car Company of St. Louis, Missourimarker.

Of the 765 PCC streetcars the TTC owned, only two remain - numbers #4500 and #4549 which see mostly charter service, although they do sometimes see regular operation along the TTC's 509 Harbourfront line.

Most of the PCC streetcars owned by the TTC were purchased new, although 225 were purchased secondhand from other transit organizations as their PCC fleets were withdrawn from service. Many of the retired PCC streetcars were purchased by other organizations.
