Tecticornia is a genus of
succulent,
salt
tolerant plant largely
endemic
to
Australia. In 2007, the genus
Halosarcia, along with three
other Australian genera (
Pachycornia,
Sclerostegia and
Tegicornia) was incorporated
intothe genus.
