Thomas James Creamer (May 26, 1843August 4, 1914) was a U.S. Representative from New Yorkmarker.

Born near Garadice Lake, Ireland, CreamerImmigrated to the United States and took up his residence in New York City.He attended the public schools.Shipping clerk in a dry-goods house in 1860.He studied law.He was admitted to the bar and practiced.He served as member of the State assembly 1865-1867.He served in the State senate 1868-1871.City tax commissioner for five years.Acted as counsel for State commissions to revise the tax laws.

Creamer was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-third Congress (March 4, 1873-March 3, 1875).He was not a candidate for renomination in 1874.

Creamer was elected to the Fifty-seventh Congress (March 4, 1901-March 3, 1903).He was not a candidate for renomination in 1902.He resumed the practice of law in New York City, and died there August 4, 1914.He was interred in Greenwood Cemetery.
