Thorpe-le-Soken is a village in Essex, located southwest of Walton-on-the-Nazemarker, Frinton-on-Seamarker and northwest of Clacton-on-Seamarker. Its history can be traced back to Saxon times.

The village is served by Thorpe-le-Soken railway stationmarker.

For education, Thorpe-le-Soken has Rolph CofE Primary School in the High Street, and the Thorpe Campus of Tendring Technology Collegemarker (Years 7, 8 and 9) in Landermere Road. This is one of the biggest comprehensive schools in North Essex with around 1,700 pupils.

The village is popular with locals and visitors, with a reasonable selection of shops, pubs and eateries. Unfortunately the Post Office was closed in the last round of Government cuts and the High Street becomes extremely busy in summer with coastal traffic.
