Biography
McShay
attended Swampscott High School in Swampscott, MA
where he was the quarterback of the varsity
team. His most productive game at quarterback came in week 3
of his junior season in which he completed 5 of 8 passes for 43
yards to go along with one touchdown and 2 interceptions. He deiced
to go to college at the University of Richmond. He attempted to
walk-on while attending , but was switched to defensive back and
garnered little playing time. He's an analyst for a segment of ESPN
that deals mainly with analyzing college prospects in detail and
attempting to predict where they will be selected in the
draft.
In addition to his scouting duties, McShay also co-hosts College
Game Day on ESPN Radio on Saturday's during college football
season. He also holds regular chats on ESPN.com, contributes to
ESPN: The Magazine and tapes various spots for a variety of ESPN
shows where he can often be seen debating against
Mel Kiper Jr. He will also be doing commentary
in the
video game NFL Head Coach 09. Todd had a large
part in ESPN's 2009 NFL Draft coverage.
