U.S. Route 123 is a spur of U.S. Route 23. It currently runs for 87 miles (140 km) from Greenville, South Carolinamarker to Dicks Hill, Georgia at U.S. Route 23. It passes through the states of South Carolinamarker and Georgiamarker and before the construction of I-85, it was the main route between Greenville, South Carolinamarker and Atlanta, Georgiamarker.

A portion of U.S. 123 from Clemson, SCmarker to Easley, SCmarker is built as a freeway.The roadway is complete with exits, but lacks wide enough shoulders and a median barrier.
Exit list
None of the exits are numbered on the freeway.
The west end spurs into Clemson, SCmarker.The east end spurs into Easley, SCmarker
