Upton is a civil parish north-east of Kislingburymarker and south-west of Dallingtonmarker, in Northamptonshiremarker, Englandmarker. It is in the West Hunsbury Ward of Northampton Borough Councilmarker and Northamptonshire County Councilmarker. At the time of the 2001 census, the parish's population was 590 people.

James Harrington, the author of The Commonwealth of Oceana, which found little favour with Oliver Cromwell, was born in the village in 1611. He wrote the book in the nearly village of Milton Malsormarker. Quinton House Schoolmarker, an independent school for 2-18 year olds, is in Upton.
