Wanborough railway station is situated in Flexfordmarker in Surreymarker, Englandmarker and serves the village of Normandymarker to the north and Wanboroughmarker to the south. The station is served by South West Trains, who manage the station, and by First Great Western. It is situated on the Ascot to Guildford line and the North Downs Line.

Services

South West Trains operate services every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, and every 60 minutes on Sundays between Ascotmarker and Guildfordmarker via Aldershotmarker. First Great Western operate occasional services between Readingmarker and Redhillmarker.

History

The station opened in 1891. The station's signal box closed in 1966, on the day that the then-new signal box at Ash Crossing (itself later closed and demolished) was commissioned. Wanborough ceased to be staffed in 1987.
