This article is about the local government district in Worcestershire

Wyre Forest is a local government district in Worcestershire, Englandmarker, covering the towns of Kidderminstermarker, Stourport-on-Severnmarker and Bewdleymarker, and several civil parishes and their villages Its council is based in Stourport-on-Severnmarker.

The district was formed under the Local Government Act 1972, on 1 April 1974, as a merger of Bewdley and Kidderminster municipal boroughs, Stourport-on-Severn Urban District Council and Kidderminster Rural Districtmarker Council.

The Wyre Forest parliamentary constituencymarker, which covers most of the district, is represented by the Independent Kidderminster Hospital and Health Concern MP Dr Richard Taylor. His party was the dominant party, but in the May 2008 local election, the Conservative Party took control of the council.
